As the President and CEO of MOTIR, Mr. Irono was chosen as a DC Chamber of Commerce 2019 Small Business Champion of the Year. Mr. Irono was also awarded the Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council (CRMSDC) 2018 Top 100 Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) for his transformational efforts in building a successful Small Business Enterprise. His journey to social entrepreneurialism started from humble beginnings in Nigeria after which he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Elizabeth City State University and Master of Business Administration in Finance from Morgan State University.
